Full Time Positions Available:

Back End Developer

Tietronix Software seeks a Back-End Web Developer to support Tietronix Life Sciences in Houston, Texas. Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for full delivery (designing, developing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting) of server-side services to satisfy business requirements
  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented, hands-on and motivated self-starter who can work independently or with a team
  • Should be well versed in unit tests and be able to produce comprehensive tests for all developed code
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Qualifications for this position are:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in back end development in Java
  • Strong hands-on experience with Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security and Spring Data
  • Proficient in ORM technologies like Hibernate
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Database design, optimization and management
  • Experience with NoSQL technologies like MongoDB, Riak, Redis or DynamoDB
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Junit
  • Good understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Proficient understanding of REST API model
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git or SVN
  • Experience in building Medical Device Software is a plus
  • Experience in Cloud Foundry is a plus

Front End Developer

Tietronix Software seeks a Front-End Developer to support Tietronix Life Sciences in Houston, Texas. Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop new user-facing features based on UI/UX Designs
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Write unit tests and produce good quality code
  • Support testing and documentation
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Qualifications for this position are:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 2 – 5 years’ experience in front end development
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
  • Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and Bootstrap
  • Good understanding of Angular/AngularJS, ReactJS or VueJS
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha or Jest
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git or SVN

Preferred experience with:

  • Backend development technologies like Spring, Struts, Hibernate, .Net, C# and Java

Software Engineer

Tietronix Software seeks a software engineer in a team environment to support NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. The responsibilities are:

  • Software development using a variety of mixed reality hardware and software
  • Programming user interface and behavior of various mixed reality tools
  • Integration of NVIDIA Holodeck concepts into architecture
  • Support demonstrations, testing and documentation

Qualifications for this position are:

  • Bachelor of Science in computer science or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience required.
  • High level of initiative, attention to detail, and team-oriented.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in the following areas:
    • Proficient in C++
    • Unreal Engine, its modifications and plugins
    • Integration of 3D models, asset and hardware into mixed reality environment
    • Agile/Scrum software development process
    • Software architecture, design, implementation, testing, verification and validation
  • U.S. permanent resident or citizenship.
