Simulation and Modeling Solutions
Computer simulation is the discipline
of designing a model of an actual or theoretical physical
system, executing the model on a digital computer, and
analyzing the execution output. Simulation embodies
the principle of “learning by doing” ---
to learn about the system you must first build a model
of some sort and then operate the model.
Whether for training, medical or product design, Tietronix
can build simulations to calculate how your system will
operate under varying conditions without going to the
expense of building the actual system.
Engineering designs can be improved by varying aspects
of the design and uncovering the effect that changes
would have on performance.
Scientific theories can be tested by comparing results
of simulations with results of experiments. Simulations
are also used for weather forecasting.
Flight simulators allow pilots to gain experience at
dealing with hazardous situations (engine failure, for
example) without putting lives at risk.
Education researchers have, in fact, determined that
adults learn better by experience than through reading
or lectures. Simulated experiences can be just as valuable
a training tool as the real thing.
The benefits of computer simulation are clear. At Tietronix,
we are committed to providing the most innovative and
valuable simulation while delivering a cost-effective
solution.
