Virtual Tours

Tietronix Virtual Tours provides users with a “total immersion experience.”

Unlike traditional interactive multimedia products, our Virtual Tour product creates a complete suspension of disbelief that lets users travel freely through the virtual space provided to them. Users can walk through a commercial space, open the closets and cabinets in a home, or perhaps take a trip through the International Space Station.

For architects and engineers, we can create extremely detailed virtual structures that designers can walk through, letting them head off potential problems before a spade of dirt is overturned or a bolt is fastened.

Besides these uses, our Virtual Tour product is suitable for emergency and operational facility training purposes.

The Tietronix Virtual Tour product is ideal for the following applications:

  • Travel and tourism destinations
  • Facility management and safety training
  • Commercial real estate sales
  • Residential real estate sales
  • Science teaching purposes
  • Engineering and Architecture

The examples below represent the technological abilities of Tietronix to build and enhance any tourable virtual environments.

The Virtual JSC Tour for NASA's Johnson Space Center gives an interactive journey through some of the more interesting facilities at JSC. You are taken on a ground-based tour around from the main concourse on the JSC compound to a facility that contains physical training mockups of the International Space Station laboratory modules to Space Shuttle training simulators. You are able to negotiate doors and entryways, climb up and down virtual stairs, and traverse through the virtual JSC compound at will through the interactions of a simple computer keyboard and mouse.

Tietronix has also built a virtual tour of a multi-story hotel, complete with automatic doors and operational elevators.

These types of innovation represents just one of the many virtual reality development examples created by the forward thinking of the Visualization Technologies Development Unit of Tietronix.

This is an elaborate virtual model of the International Space Station configuration version 18a featuring a 3DoF (degree of freedom) fly-through tour. The user is able to use any type of controller ranging from keyboard, mouse to game console. As the user flies through the ISS modules and support superstructures, levels of details are revealed to show more ISS features.
