TieFlow
eProcess Solution
Tietronix initially developed the
TieFlow eProcess Software for NASA’s Johnson Space
Center (JSC) as a first generation workflow system.
NASA decided to develop its own system after it discovered
that none of the workflow systems available on the market
matched its exact needs.
In addition, NASA estimated the cost of the investment
in existing commercial workflow systems would have
been prohibitive based on the number of user licenses
it would have had to purchase.
The Solution developed for the
Space Agency is a secure, web-based system that allows
world-wide participation of authorized users in NASA
processes. International partners are able to be involved
in the defined processes using a standard web browser.
These workflow systems also feature the concept of roles,
individualized forms that allow file attachments, and
reports on content and process data.
Improve
your Business Processes
TieFlow eProcess is a simple yet powerful business process
improvement solution. This workflow management tool
can automate and simplify any generic or industry-specific
work process.
From
eProcess to eCommerce
TieFlow helps organizations transform work inefficiencies
and internal operations involving people, paper and
procedures into a streamlined well-organized electronic-based
process. TieFlow also works across the distributed enterprise
and with business partners regardless of their existing
technology platform.
Transform
Complex into Simple
Consider the complexity and myriad of internal processes
performed by NASA to successfully launch shuttle and
space stations missions. NASA’s objective when
it approached Tietronix was to develop an easy to use
and implement solution to simplify process control and
management. We designed TieFlow such that process owners
with no programming skills or knowledge will be able
to completely define, implement, deploy, and maintain
electronic workflow processes.

and rapidly captured in a graphical manner and enforced
together with associated rules such as who shall do
