Tietronix Recognized as Best Place to Work in Houston

HOUSTON October 19, 2001 – Tietronix is among the best companies to work for in Houston, according to the Houston Business Journal. The weekly newspaper's annual “Best Places to Work” survey included 120 companies in four employee size categories.

“We are absolutely delighted with this recognition, which reflects how our employees really feel about working at Tietronix,” company co-founders Victor Tang and Michel Izygon said.

“Employees say Tietronix is a company that cares about their ideas and opinions,” the Houston Business Journal wrote.

Most of the more than 50 Tietronix employees who participated in the confidential online survey praised the work environment as “friendly and conducive to achieving professional goals.” A majority said they enjoy coming to work each day and appreciate the open communication with management.
Other company finalists included Conoco, Pentasafe, AIM Management, St. Luke's Hospital, and El Paso Corp.
Each nominated company completed a survey that focused on benefits provided, such as financial, vacation, compensation, well being/family and work environment. But 60 percent of a company's total survey score was determined by the employee survey.
The Houston Business Journal sent invitations to 5,000 Houston-based companies to participate in the Best Places to Work competition.
