Our
Methodology
The failure rate of IT and software
projects is estimated to be an astonishing 80 to 90
percent. (Failure includes failure to complete on time
and/or failure to meet client requirements fully).
 According
to the Standish Group, in 2000, U.S. government and
businesses spent approximately $80 billion on canceled
software projects, and another $60 billion for budget
overruns. Their survey claimed that in the United States,
only about one-sixth of all projects were completed
on time and within budget, nearly one third of all projects
were canceled outright, and well over half were considered
"challenged." Of the challenged or canceled projects,
the average project was 189 percent over budget, 222
percent behind schedule, and contained only 61 percent
of the originally specified features.
At Tietronix, our process for effective software development has resulted in a 100-percent
success rate -- on time and on budget.
How is this possible?
At Tietronix, we don't just talk
about "Best Practices," we incorporate them into every
project. Our methodology is based on proven systems
and processes, which incorporate Unified Modeling Language
and Object-Oriented Technologies. Our products are developed
using the latest design and development techniques,
in conjunction with the Rational
Unified Process.
The result is a robust product that satisfies clients' objectives - 100 percent of the time.
We employ the most thorough quality assurance from the beginning to the end of the development
cycle and subject all of our projects to the rigors of our in-house testing team.
