NASA Cognitive Assessment Game (NCAG)
Serious games have been proposed by NASA as a way to determine the cognitive abilities of astronauts during long duration spaceflights. In response, Tietronix developed the NCAG game for NASA as a tool to test that theory. This game measured physical and mental acuity under stress. Players must fly an aircraft through a canyon and make decisions based on commands that are posed as they fly. Commands can be customized based on the investigator's goals and range from simple mathematical problems to more complex questions.
